Artist’s hunt for the perfect Keir Starmer lookalike

What do Colin Firth, Tony Hadley, Mark Kermode, Dean Gaffney and Lee from Gogglebox have in common? More than a passing resemblance to Sir Keir Starmer, according to Alison Jackson, an artist who specialises in photographing lookalikes in incongruous situations.

Her previous efforts include the King and Queen scoffing a McDonalds on the sofa, Queen Elizabeth sitting on a lavatory and a catfight between the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Sussex.

Having searched in vain for someone to play the Labour leader, Jackson has now issued a call for people to come forward to help with her next project.
